Taking to social media, David Matthews, General Manager at Edith Cowan University in Western Australia spoke of how fantastic students are. He said this in reference to an idea that the university's Sri Lankan student ambassadors have recently had.

"Our Edith Cowan University Sri Lanka Student Ambassadors asked if they could organise and run a student fair on campus to give our students an opportunity to mingle and have fun. Games, music, food trucks and more were on offer and they had hundreds attending", he said.

Edith Cowan University (ECU) is one of Australia’s and the world’s best young universities, having more than 30,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students, and also welcoming over 6,000 international students annually, originating from more than 100 countries. 

Speaking of the event, ECU said, "the ECU Sri Lanka student ambassadors successfully held their first event "Carpe Diem" on the 26th of August 2022 with a participation of 250+ throughout the day!"

A fantastic initiative indeed!
